STAMPEDE
Stampede is a high energy country/rock band, playing around the Pittsburgh and Tri-State area since 2005. They are currently becoming one of the hottest country acts in the City of Pittsburgh! They have played at numerous festivals, fairs, and venues including: The Meadows Casino, Lady Luck Casino at Nemacolin, The Pepsi Cola Roadhouse, and the former Post Gazette Pavilion as an opener on the VIP stage for artists Tim Mcgraw and Jason Aldean.
Stampede has partnered with Pittsburgh Country radio station Y108 on several projects such as: The Y108 Battle of the bands at The 3 Rivers Regatta, Y108 Country Nights at Jergels Rhythm Grille, and The Grand Opening of Y108's "Country in the City" at Xtaza Nightclub in the Strip District.
Their original song "Feel The Fire" was chosen to be played in rotation on Froggy Radio as one of Froggy's featured "Hometown Country Artists" . Their debut album "Feel The Fire" is available to purchase for download on all major online music retailers, and at live shows!
Most recently they had the honor of opening for National Artist Chris Young, at The 3 Rivers Regatta in 2016, and opening for Maggie Rose at Hard Rock Cafe in 2018, and playing the 4th of July Celebration at Point State Park in Pittsburgh in 2016 and 2018.
The Music
The "Feel The Fire" EP is an original album written and recorded by Stampede. It combines a variety of different aspects of country, with influences from classic country, rock, blues, and pop. Songs on the album can be compared to artists such as Miranda Lambert, John Michael Montgomery, Little Big Town, and even Johnny and June. Each track has a great hook, and story. The title track from this album was picked to be featured on Froggy Radio as a featured "Hometown Country Artist" in 2016, and is still in rotation today.
